ndrea Lee is one of the rising stars at the LPGA Tour, highlighted by her first win at the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee was a winner at every level, including her collegiate golf career during her time at Standford University where she earned 9 victories and spent 17 weeks in the position of being the #1 Women's Amateur of the World. After winning the Mark H. McCormack Award as the top-ranked Women's Amateur in the world after the end of the season in 2019, Lee decided to go pro. Andrea Lee has made a name for herself in the world of professional golf since she was an amateur player. You may be unaware of the following facts about American LPGA Tour golfer Andrea Lee. Andrea Lee was born on 15 August 1997 in Los Angeles. James James started teaching her when she was 5 years old to play the game of golf. In four years she won 50 junior titles. She made it to the finals of US Women's Open in Pinehurst No. aged 15 with her dad playing as her caddie. She received a sponsors invite to the 2015 ANA Inspiration on the LPGA Tour but was unable to make the cut by just one shot. Lee was a member of the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup as well as Women's World Amateur Team Championship. In the year 2016, she enrolled at Stanford University and became its most decorated sportsperson at the time. Over the next three years, she racked up nine individual titles. Lee was forced to leave Stanford University to turn pro in the year 2019. Her amateur years included 17 consecutive weeks at the top on the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee was awarded her the Mark H. McCormack award for the 2019 season after having been the top amateur. Lee was an amateur of the top who scored four albatrosses as well as four holes in one.
